Here an expectant mother and her unborn child step out of their past and into what they pray may be a brighter future for them both. Leaving their craft thus customary conformity behind, one can see that the land upon which they are now taking a stand is strewn with flecks of color, symbolic of the myriad of promising opportunities that they trust will await them; ah that we might all be so courageous.
